Ron is CEO of US LED which he founded in 2001 to serve the early demand for LED sign lighting. With the introduction of LED lighting products for office, warehouse, outdoor and refrigeration lighting, the company’s growth has accelerated beyond the 84% it has averaged to 201% in 2010. The products are sold worldwide, competing with GE, Sylvania, Phillips, Acuity, Hubble and Cree among many others.
In 1980 Ron founded US Signs, a Houston-based manufacturer of identification signage for major national accounts, which he sold in June of 2011.
Ron’s avocation is road racing in the highly competitive ST class in Grand-AM’s Continental Tires Series. He also races his Corvette in the ST-2 class in NASA-sanctioned events where he won the National Championship in 2010. He also enjoys golfing and pistol shooting.
Ron and his wife, Margarita, reside in Houston, Texas and have two children and four grandchildren.
